Louis Vuitton Interprets Muhammad Ali’s ‘Float’ with Yasiin Bey and Niels Shoe Meulman.
Ogilvy Paris has finished a first series of moving visuals for French luxury brand Louis Vuitton. Starring Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def, the rapper moves inside of the a box ring, reciting Muhammad Ali speeches, combined with sound design and original music. The personal attachement of Bey to the boxer makes it such a perfect fit. Rumor also has it, that the music used in the spots will be developed into full tracks. Series of Mixed Media Illustrations of world’s famous designer brands. Works done with Graphite & Watercolor in A4 Paper + Digital (Photoshop).
The designs aim to illustrate and create a very feminine mood yet still conserve the sophistication and identity of each brands. The process begun with an initial hand-drawn illustration with graphite and watercolor, scanned and exported into Photoshop for the final composition.
